Successful Artists need to do more than Create. They need to promote themselves well, and often. Having a thorough understanding of the services needed to do so, will help you save money and maintain complete control of the presentation of yourself and your work.

Marketing is essentially an over-arching strategy of approaching your customers across all of the possible interactions you can plan out. Advertising is one of the main tactics for reaching those targeted customers. (The arrow you shoot from your bow!) These two disciplines of commerce, and the services that spin off of them are all digitized now. You’ll need to know how to use them to your advantage if you want a successful career as an Artist.

Using platforms like META gives you access to advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and is an important foundation for reaching thousands of potential customers. Creating videos and publishing them on YouTube, Facebook, TikTok and on your own website(s) is another way to expand your audience and gain customers. Juggling all of this takes practice, but this course will help you understand how to do ALL of this yourself OR how to manage others performing these services for you.

This course will give you an overview of the systems that deliver ads, how to set up and manage accounts on these platforms, how to create and manage an Ad Media budget, the process for developing ads, and how to measure the results of your efforts.
