EMPOWERMENT
The Catskills Digital Arts School was established in 2024 and is dedicated to empowering Artists of ALL ages with a range of powerful, digital tools to help them create new works, expand sales and broaden their careers. We offer “Bootcamp” style programs in Digital Drawing & Painting, Illustration & Graphic Design, Digital Photography & Videography, Motion Graphics & Hand-Drawn Animation, and Website Development. Our classes provide an overview of the market for Creative Products and Services, the current “Tools of the Trade”, and the Computers, Devices, Software, Apps, and Digital Workflows currently used in the digital workspace.
We also offer workshops for Artists who wish to focus on the Business-of-Art, with courses in Advertising, SEO Marketing, and eCommerce websites. These classes and workshops focus on the platforms of promotion, and the software and apps to produce digital advertising, run advertising campaigns on social media, and measure the results of those efforts.

The Catskills Digital Arts School’s programs for Young Artists (12-17) and Working Artists (18+) were developed to expand an Artist’s career opportunities. The knowledge gained in these classes with experienced instructors provide’s the practical information and individual professional guidance needed to achieve their goals as Artists.
Each program tracks a discipline within the creative services ecosystem. This knowledge empowers our students to produce their own marketing and advertising materials, promote and sell their own products and services, or apply for content media and agency jobs with confidence. Our instructors are digital professionals currently working in this media industry. This first-hand experience is critical for helping guide Artists on their career paths.
ACTIVATION
Young Artists: Our mission requires us to educate our Younger Artists (12-17) about the hard work, discipline, and dedication it takes to build a successful and sustainable career in the Arts. From their first class, students begin developing a Career Map to help them visualize their professional path. This helps Young Artists plan out their stepping stones, formulating an Agenda for professional and artistic growth that is intended to provide a fulfilling, successful career. You will be ACTIVATED to take the first steps in your professional career!
Working Artists: Our mission is to give you a map for the first few steps of your journey as an Artist now that you have been empowered with these new skills. You will walk away from our classes with a map and checklist for accomplishing your next goals. You will be ACTIVATED to do bold new things!
