Welcome to The Catskills Digital Arts School, I am very happy you are considering attending classes here to advance your career in the Arts. If you are like me, you showed a lot of artistic promise at an early age. I was drawing at 5, and by 16 I was selling prints and taking commissions from art buyers, publishers and local businesses. I had the benefit of mentorship from older, experienced professionals and art teachers who helped me to understand my special powers and my own responsibility to create an agenda for myself. I’ve used that agenda as a road map to build an illustrious career that is still rewarding to this day.

I founded The Catskills Digital Arts School to provide the same opportunities I had when I was young to the Young Artists in our region here in upstate New York. Our Mission at the school is to help you harness your talent, teach you professional skills, and give you the direction to help you get started on your career as an Artist. The classes here will teach you the “Tools of the Trade”, familiarize you with the Computers, Devices, Platforms, Software, Apps, and the Digital Workflows required to manage a career in the Arts.
Our classes are designed to help you map out your career. We will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the marketplace for your talents, and how to become a successful “Working Artist”. We will teach you how to produce your own marketing and advertising materials in order to promote and sell your own products and services. We will give you the knowledge and skills to help you gain employment in the Media/Content Industry.
After taking our classes, you will have up-to-date skills with professional-level software, an online portfolio website of your artworks, and large color prints for promoting your first entrepreneurial venture developed as a class project.
